At ASG Contracting, I bring over 25 years of hands-on experience and a lifelong passion for building into every custom cabinetry project we take on. Based in Calgary and servicing the surrounding areas, we specialize in creating custom cabinetry that marries timeless design with precision craftsmanship—enhancing the beauty, functionality, and value of your home.
My story is rooted in decades of diverse construction experience. Growing up in a construction environment laid the foundation for a career built on skill and dedication. After graduating, I completed a Cabinet Making course at Kelsey Institute in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and moved to Calgary in 1985 to begin framing houses. By 1987, I was subcontracting for Royal Cabinets, focusing on kitchen and bathroom renovations, and in 1990, I launched my own kitchen and bathroom renovation company.
As demand grew, I expanded into full residential renovations, training multiple framing crews that worked on new builds for respected companies like Shane Homes, Sterling Homes, and Reilly Homes. In 1998 and 1999, I served as a project manager for Country Comfort Homes, successfully completing 30 new homes from the ground up. From 2000 to 2003, I specialized in commercial-industrial projects, subcontracting for MakLoc Buildings on mobile chemical labs for Encana, and managing a major addition for Husky’s Ram River Dehydration Gas Plant. These major jobs ensured AGS worked and still works closely will all other trades.
Today, ASG Contracting focuses on what we do best: delivering tailored cabinetry and renovation solutions built with care and integrity. Whether it’s a striking kitchen transformation, a custom vanity, or smart storage solutions, I use only premium materials and hardware to ensure lasting durability and timeless style. My work is defined by meticulous attention to detail, personalized service, and a commitment to bringing your vision to life.
